IT Strategy & Planning Director (IT Strategy&Planning Director) Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking IT Strategy & Planning Director to help lead our next phase of transformation. In this highly visible role, you will bridge strategic vision with execution, sharing long-term plans, defining investment priorities, and enabling innovation across digital platforms. How you will make an impact: • Define and drive multi-year IT strategic plans aligned with enterprise-wide transformation goals and financial targets. • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing insights into business capabilities, technology trends, and operational performance. • Monitors and conducts research of related technology and business trends, using data and qualitative performance measures, to advise senior management relative to IT strategy. • Develop comprehensive strategy roadmaps that reflect both short-term initiatives and long-range vision for the future of care delivery. • Synthesizes annual and multi-year plans to demonstrate tie-back to corporate and CIO-level strategies and goals. • Analyze market trends, internal KPIs, and external benchmarks to guide investment decisions and strategic partnerships. • Use forecast models and scenario planning to inform high-impact decisions and surface new opportunities. • Partner cross-functionally to align product, engineering, infrastructure, and business priorities into a cohesive IT operating model. • Drive thought leadership by translating technical plans into accessible, compelling narratives for executive audiences. Minimum Requirements: Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years experience in Data Collection and Analysis, IT Consulting, IT Performance Management, Strategy or Financial Planning, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Business Process Design; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: • Experience managing budgets of $20M+ and leading enterprise-wide IT transformations or cloud migrations preferred. • Strategic planner with a strong foundation in agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC/CI-CD frameworks preferred. • Demonstrated ability to operate with C-suite, boards, and external partners/investors preferred. • Deep experience in cloud-native, data-driven environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) preferred. • Strong leadership across distributed and global engineering/strategy teams (100+ FTEs) preferred. • Experience in regulated industries or with complex M&A integration preferred. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $178,200 to $267,300.
