Senior DevOps Engineer (Multi?Cloud) — AI Platform & FinOps Location: Remote Americas / EU – core collaboration 10 a.m.–2 p.m. ET Job Type: 12?Month Contract (W?2, high chance of extension) Hourly Rate: $78–$92 /hr – DOE Job #: 7354 ABOUT THE ROLE Our client, a global tech?services company powering SaaS and data platforms for Fortune 1000 customers, needs a senior DevOps leader to roll out multi?cloud ML pipelines that stay lean on cost and lightning?fast on delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Spin up IaC landing zones in AWS CDK, Terraform and Pulumi across AWS, Azure and GCP. • Build GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD / Jenkinsfile) that retrain and deploy models for multiple client tenants. • Containerise models with Docker to EKS / GKE / AKS; enable blue/green and canary roll?outs. • Instrument FinOps dashboards (Kubecost, CloudWatch, Azure Cost Management) to slash waste ??15?%. • Bake in compliance via OPA, Kyverno or HashiCorp Sentinel on every pull request. • Coach project squads on SRE best practices, blameless post?mortems and written?first culture. CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • IaC & Orchestration: Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, Helm, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) • ML / Data: SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML, Kubeflow, MLflow • Observability & Sec: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, OPA, Kyverno, Trivy • Soft Skills: Async communication, mentoring squads, client?facing demos QUALIFICATIONS • 7+ years DevOps/SRE; 3+ years ML or data?intensive workloads. • Proven multi?cloud deployment experience (at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP). • Demonstrated cost?optimisation wins exceeding $500?K or ??15?% savings. • BS in CS/CE or equivalent; CKA or AWS Professional certification a plus.
