Position Summary The Cloud System Administrator II is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Wellby Financial's IT infrastructure, including on-premises systems, SaaS environments, cloud environments and the M365 cloud environment. This role involves installing, configuring, and updating software and hardware, ensuring system security, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support to end-users. Additionally, the Cloud System Administrator II will focus on implementing, monitoring, and maintaining cloud-based resources, ensuring high availability and security. Principle Duties and Responsibilities • Willingness and ability to exhibit Wellby Core Values every day. • Works with purpose and is driven to provide the best team member experience. • Manage and monitor on-premises and Azure resources, including virtual machines, service accounts, AD, and Azure AD. • Lead the deployment and configuration of M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other related applications. • Manage and monitor Azure resources, including Azure servers, Single-Sign on, Defender, and Advisor recommendations. • Integrate Entra ID and Active Directory platform components and third-party applications to enable seamless user access and authentication experiences. • Configure Azure Active Directory services, including user provisioning, authentication, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA). • Stay updated with the latest M365 features and best practices to continuously enhance the solutions. • Manage Microsoft 365 security design and implementation of Conditional Access, Data Loss Prevention policies in collaboration with the Cybersecurity team using Microsoft Purview. • Assesses and evaluates existing SharePoint solutions, technical architecture, and workflows to architect more robust modern technologies such as Power Platform. • Set up and maintain automation between Wellby and 3rd party vendors. • Maintain and update external DNS. • Optimize on-premises and Azure cost management and monitor resource utilization. • Implement and optimize on-premises infrastructure, including virtual networks and connectivity. • Ensure cloud resources align with Wellby’s security policies and compliance standards. • Develop and manage automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other tools. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for Azure-hosted systems and on-premises systems. • Collaborate with IT professionals to optimize both on-premises and cloud performance. • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures for both on-premises and cloud environments. • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems. • Ensure system security and data backups are in place. • Manage user accounts and access control. • Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures. • Act as a point of escalation for Service Desk Administrators. • Assist in training and knowledge transfer to Service Desk staff. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. • Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends. • Assist in IT projects as directed. • Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA) • Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions, and general operating policies and procedures. • Knowledge of on-premises IT systems architecture. • Knowledge of M365 environment. • Knowledge of Azure tools (Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell). • Knowledge of identity and access management, including AD and Azure AD. • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices. • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud and onsite environments. • Knowledge of antivirus, antispam, and data loss prevention solutions. • Knowledge of the systems/computer field, including application design, hardware, software and their capabilities and limitations. • Knowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation. • Knowledge of current networking hardware, protocols and standards • Knowledge of database management protocols and standards • Skilled in the understanding of programing languages. • Skilled in project management and planning. • Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and scanners. • Skilled in common datacenter technologies, virtualization, and cloud platforms. • Skilled in technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and automation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with exceptional customer service skills. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. • Ability to motivate others and to work in a large cross-functional team dynamic. • Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members. • Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously. • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Minimum Qualifications • High School Diploma Required • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred. • Azure Administrator Associate [AZ-104] certification preferred. • Minimum five (5) to ten (10) years of work Information Technology experience required. • Customer service experience required. • Data processing experience required. • Excellent troubleshooting skills. • High degree of organization, ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines. • Be willing to travel 20% of the time. • Bondable For All Candidates This is a Full-Time, Salary (exempt) role.
