About the Reporting & Insights Analyst - Commercial at Headspace: The Headspace Client Reporting team is seeking an experienced Reporting & Insights Analyst to play a key role in driving and enhancing our Employer, Partner & Health Plan client insights and reporting portfolio. As a Reporting Analyst you will interact with technical and business teams. You will support the quality and consistency of Headspace’s external and internal reporting, working under defined standards and in coordination with business and technical teams.. The ideal candidate brings analytical and operational strengths, with the ability to execute well-defined technical reporting tasks and support project coordination efforts. This role will assist in identifying areas for process enhancement and contribute recommendations to support efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, business analyst with experience transforming large quantities of data into meaning and actionable insights. What you will do: Build and maintain complex queries and dashboards to support operational and performance reporting needs, based on provided specifications. Create and maintain technical documentation and user-guides for end users Produce business analysis deliverables for projects such as: aggregated by-client member outcomes (e.g. depression & anxiety) & enhancing standardized client reports (e.g. quarterly reporting) Create custom reports and/or dashboards for internal and external business stakeholder use Monitor and report on Service Delivery function against Service Level Agreements (SLA’s); Performance Guarantees against Actuals Perform structured data analyses to support internal and external teams, using established approaches and documented assumptions. Assist in surfacing business process issues and contribute recommendations for improvement to relevant team leads. Understand system architecture of upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solution What you will bring: Required Skills: Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Math, or related field) 5+ years of related IT/data analytics experience Strong analytical skills, ability to tell a story using data and KPI’s Strong knowledge and experience with Relational Databases, SQL, Python, R, Looker, Tableau, Statistics, Amplitude, Domo, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, and Excel. High proficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel advanced functions and Power BI), Proficient at synthesizing data into written narrative and communicate findings effectively; requires strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze and communicate upstream and downstream effects of changes to reporting, data, and/or measures Experience contributing data-backed insights to support business decisions, with input reviewed and refined by project leads or stakeholders. Work with autonomy on scoped tasks while seeking clarity on objectives and surfacing challenges early to avoid rework. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously Propensity to think outside of the box to automate manual processes Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets (functions, pivot tables, etc), and Excel Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience Preferred Skills: Experience with data QA and validation measures Understanding of non-traditional revenue generation structures and functionality (e.g. partnerships, benefits portals) Familiarity with the field of behavioral and mental health Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Redshift, S3, Databricks, Datalakes, Spark) Location: We are currently hiring this role remotely in the US and Hybrid for San Francisco (SF) and Los Angeles (LA). Candidates must permanently reside in the US full-time.For candidates with a primary residence in the greater SF and LA areas, this role will follow our hybrid model. You’ll work 3 days per week from our office, allowing for impactful in-office collaboration and connection, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work for the rest of the week. Your recruiter will share more details about our hybrid model. Pay & Benefits: The anticipated new hire base salary range for this full-time position is $64,000-$90,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are based on the job, level, and location, and reflect the lowest to highest geographic markets where we are hiring for this role within the United States.
