Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia, PA Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure and Security Solutions Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure environment, implementing and maintaining Purview, Defender, and Intune solutions, and overseeing various assigned projects. Familiarity with the Microsoft 365/Entra cloud-based environment is essential for this role. This position requires an understanding of cloud infrastructure and security best practices. This is a contract to hire opportunity with an initial pay rate of $55/hr W2. Long-term, the hope is for this position to convert full-time. Candidates local to the Philadelphia area are preferred. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage 365/Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements. • Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance. • Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for endpoint security and threat protection. • Administer Microsoft Intune for device management and security policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and security solutions. • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and cybersecurity. • Manage and execute assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. • Utilize and optimize the Microsoft 365 Cloud-based environment for various business needs. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Purview, Defender, Intune, and Microsoft 365 Cloud-based environment. • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security protocols, and data governance. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus.
