Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Location : Fort Washington, PA - 3 days a week onsite Target Start Date : 10/22/2025 Type: Contract to Hire About the Role We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions. In this role, you’ll partner with development, security, and operations teams to ensure our Microsoft Azure environment is secure, cost-efficient, and aligned with business goals. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). • Automate deployments with ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform. • Monitor and optimize cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. • Apply best practices in security (RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policy). • Support hybrid environments and integrate on-prem systems with Azure. • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions). • Control costs using Azure Cost Management tools. • Keep documentation current and recommend improvements as Azure evolves. What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of cloud engineering or IT infrastructure experience, focused on Azure. • Hands-on expertise with Azure VMs, Storage, Networking, and Entra ID Hybrid. • Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python). • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform). • Strong understanding of networking, identity, and security in Azure. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. Preferred Experience • Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400). • Exposure to Azure App Gateway, Firewall, Load Balancing, AKS, Functions, or Logic Apps. • Familiarity with hybrid tools (Azure Arc, Azure Stack). • Strong knowledge of Azure monitoring and alerting.
