Kforce has a client seeking an Enterprise Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity in the Tampa, FL area. This role will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Windows Server infrastructure and associated applications in a large enterprise environment. Key responsibilities include: - Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the Windows Server infrastructure which includes physical and virtual servers, domain controllers, file shares, and various application servers. - Implement and administer system patches, updates, and configurations for Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and other enterprise applications. - Manage user and group access permissions, Active Directory, and other identity management systems. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems in a timely manner. - Assist with project planning, implementation, and documentation for system upgrades, migrations, and other infrastructure changes. - Collaborate with the network, security, and application teams to ensure the overall health and security of the IT environment. - Provide on-call support and incident response as needed. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of enterprise-level Windows Server administration experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), DevOps practices, and scripting/automation is a plus.
