IT Support Engineer – 1st line / 2nd line support Rate: $300 to $600 per day Location: Central Station, New York Duration: 3 to 6 months Working model: Onsite About the Role: An international energy company is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer who specialises in 1st line/2nd line support. The company requires an engineer has a very customer focused approach to their work. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for desktop, laptops and printers • troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across window and macOS environment • Perform basic network troubleshoot and patching (e.g., Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP configuration) • support users with Microsoft 365, teams, outlook and other business applications. • Set Up and configure new user workstation and peripherals. • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions • Assist with onboarding/ offboarding processes including account setup and hardware allocation Key Requirements • 1-3 years of experience in IT support roles • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 macOS, and Microsoft 365 • Experience with basic networking and printer support • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude • Excellent comms and interpersonal skills • Possess an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Desirable • Familiarity with active directory and user account manager is desirable • Experienced in a professional services or corporate office setting • Worked within a trading environment with an understanding of service required
