Position: Systems Administrator (Maximo, Azure, OpenShift) with Security Clearance Systems Administrator (Maximo, Azure, Open Shift) Location: Alexandria, VA CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Secret or higher Pay - $148,000/h ALTA IT Services is seeking a Systems Administrator with expertise in IBM Maximo, Azure Cloud, and Red Hat Open Shift to support a large-scale CMMS environment. This role focuses on the administration, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization of enterprise systems, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and operational efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer, configure, and maintain the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) within an Azure-hosted and Open Shift containerized environment. Perform upgrades, patches, and functional enhancements to ensure optimal performance and security compliance. Manage integrations using the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and TRM’s Rules Manager suite. Configure and maintain workflows, Cron Tasks, Application Designer settings, and security roles. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with development and security teams for resolutions. Support authentication configurations (SAML, SPNEGO/Kerberos) and ensure proper user provisioning and access control. Oversee deployments and configuration management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Change Management, and Security, to ensure reliable system operations. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes in accordance with organizational standards. QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience as a Maximo Administrator (MAS 9 preferred) with strong knowledge of workflows, Cron Tasks, Application Designer, and Integration Framework. Hands-on experience managing Maximo in Azure Cloud and Open Shift container environments. Familiarity with Linux OS administration and Docker-based deployments. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipeline support. Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, SPNEGO/Kerberos). SQL experience (Oracle preferred). Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104) highly desirable; Maximo certifications a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a secure, regulated environment.
