Responsibilities The PJT Partners Technology team is responsible for creating and continuously improving a robust and secure technology foundation that supports the firm's business activities. Our Engineering team is focusing on leveraging cloud technology to enable our business and drive operational efficiency. We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and dynamic engineer with a strong foundation in cloud migration to join our team. Responsibilities include: • Providing expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure; • Developing technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations; • Demonstrating thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams; • Working closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design; • Designing, testing, and implementing application services migrations in both a manual and automated manner; • Ensuring security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions. • Leading in all cloud technology deployment activities, workflow configuration and development, and third-party system integration; • Performing operational engineering for activities which include platform upgrades, server patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting; • Installing, configure, automate, and monitor various cloud services, Infrastructure as a Service and Platform (IaaS, PaaS). Qualifications PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following: • 10+ years of experience in the Technology field • 5-10 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect or Microsoft Cloud Engineer • Strong experience in designing and operating Microsoft Azure solutions • Passion for continuous improvement and advancing technology solutions; • Strong understanding of cloud native architecture principles; • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform, Entra ID, Hybrid domain structures • Extensive experience in financial services, technical leadership • Experience with SharePoint Online, Azure Files and other file server technologies • In-depth experience architecting complex Azure public/private Cloud platform solutions (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS); • Understanding of API design and security practices; • Familiarity with containerization and PaaS approaches and tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Enterprise, Azure Stack); • Exposure to DevOps framework and CI/CD principles • Ability to work with ambiguity and visualize solutions for emerging concepts; • Experience architecting and implementing both PaaS and IaaS enterprise solutions; • Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments required; Expected annualized base salary of $150,000 to $185,000. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience. Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
