The work: Work with the full software development lifecycle, utilizing emerging technologies and solutioning in support of cloud design principles. Develop cloud automation, interfaces, and architecture to support cloud Native Engineering initiatives. Participate in solution and design discussions using a cloud-based architecture. Create scripts and templates for automatic provisioning of resources. Deploy and carry out processes for optimal use of cloud service provider offerings. Collaborate within a project team to solve complex problems. Experience working in a multi-cloud environment to foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration and creativity. Stay up to date with the best practices within the cloud space. Here’s what you need: 3 years of IT and/or Programming experience. Bachelor's Degree required. Experience working with cloud native technologies and/or Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and/or Serverless. Developed and/or scaled applications written in Java, Python or other programming languages with Cloud Native technologies on AWS and/or Azure. Deployed written code in AWS and/or Azure for automation and/or DevOps purposes. Active Top Secret required with ability to obtain SCI. For candidates relocating to Huntsville a relocation bonus may be available. Bonus points if you have: Obtained relevant Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect or AWS Cloud Practitioner. Experience with Native or 3rd party DevOps solutions such as terraform or Ansible etc. Instrumental in leading teams/projects or workstreams where you were a major contributor in decision-making, coaching, mentoring, developing the teams skills and/or managing conflicts. Experience and responsible for working in a multi-vendor environment building relationships with cross functional entities across the organization to avoid silos.
