ASRC Federal is seeking a highly capable and motivated Mid-Level .NET Software Developer to lead and deliver complex software development projects that drive real impact for our DoS customer in Washington, DC. Work location: Onsite (2201 C Street NW) Clearance: Active Secret • **incumbent capture only Summary This role demands technical excellence, leadership insight, and a strong customer-first mindset. The candidate will be instrumental in translating business needs into robust, scalable solutions using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, while mentoring other developers and championing Agile/SCRUM practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.) • Apply Agile/SCRUM methodologies to manage iterative development cycles and deliver high-quality software • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming • Participate in leading and managing mid-to-large scale software development projects from concept to deployment • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software design and architecture • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases as needed • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues • Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives Required Qualifications • BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in .NET development • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks • Oracle development experience required for databases • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns • Deep experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies • Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and manage junior team members • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Preferred Skills • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools • Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular) • Experience with database design and development (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) • Exposure to enterprise-level application development and deployment
