This position supports the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) as an IT Specialist under contract HE125422F3024. The incumbent will provide expert-level support in systems administration, infrastructure management, software development, and cybersecurity compliance within a dynamic and global IT environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers across DoDEA regions and MS Azure cloud environments. • Support and manage Windows and Linux server environments including performance tuning, upgrades, backups, and restoration. • Administer and support Active Directory infrastructure including domain and organizational unit (OU) structure, permissions, and group policy design. • Provide support for cybersecurity and compliance including patch management, STIG updates, and security audits. • Manage and support cloud-based infrastructure, including cloud migration and IaaS provisioning. • Perform system analysis, root cause troubleshooting, and support disaster recovery planning. • Contribute to documentation and compliance reporting, including SOPs, IAVA patches, and configuration baselines. Required Qualifications • BS/BA required and 5-7 years of experience or equivalent. • Top Secret Clearance required. • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CASP Certification. • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or equivalent. • IAT Level II or III certification per DoD Directive 8140.01. • Extensive experience in enterprise server administration, network infrastructure, and hybrid cloud environments. Performance Standards Tasks must be completed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. 90% of assigned tasks are expected to be completed on time with no more than 10% rejected per quarter. Work Conditions Work will be performed on-site at DoDEA facilities with possible travel within the assigned geographic region. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 0730–1730, excluding federal holidays.
