TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Azure Sr. Systems Administrator to join our team. This position is expected to be remote and qualified candidates across the US are encouraged to apply. Job Description: The Azure Sr. Systems Administrator plays a key role in supporting, managing and optimizing our Azure-based infrastructure, while working closely with team members across various departments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates well and maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, Entra and on prem AD, backups). • Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring high levels of uptime and security. • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot cloud-based and hybrid solutions. • Maintain documentation and system records. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Adapt to shifting priorities, changing deadlines, and emerging business needs. • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Azure-related issues. • Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and changes. Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required Skills & Experience: • 5 to 10 years of experience as an Azure Administrator. • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management. • Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and security within Azure environments. • Experience with scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and system management. • Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-premises + Azure) is a plus. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a changing environment. • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team-oriented mindset. • Clear, confident communication and a positive, proactive attitude. Desired Skills: • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303/304). • Experience working independently with small teams and shared responsibilities. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 integration and administration. Salary Range: Up to $100,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
