Enterprise Mobile App Developer Location: Woodlawn, MD (Fully On-Site) Company: GovTact Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required; candidates with Public Trust or higher clearance preferred Job Description: GovTact is seeking an Enterprise Mobile App Developer to support our federal client in Woodlawn, MD. This role requires a highly skilled mobile app developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, enterprise-grade mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both iOS and Android development, a deep understanding of security best practices, and the ability to work fully on-site in a collaborative government environment. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and security specialists, to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. • Ensure applications meet federal security and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST). • Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in highly regulated government environments. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile app functionality and integration. • Stay up to date with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and security best practices. • Conduct code reviews and implement automated testing strategies to maintain application integrity. • Provide technical documentation and training for application users and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development for iOS and Android. • Strong proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, Java, and/or React Native. • Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services. • Deep understanding of mobile security best practices, including authentication, encryption, and secure data storage. • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and mobile application compliance requirements. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, etc.). • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain or maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher. Preferred Qualifications: • Existing Public Trust or higher security clearance. • Experience developing mobile solutions for federal government agencies. • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native mobile architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). • Familiarity with cross-platform development frameworks (Flutter, Xamarin, etc.).
