Job Title: Systems Administrator Location: Vancouver, WA - 100% Onsite Position Type: Direct Hire - Full Time Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually Role Overview A Ledgent Technology client is seeking a Systems Administrator to take ownership of an internal business platform built on SQL architecture. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the functionality of a core enterprise application, supporting data reliability, assisting with troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement across internal systems. This role works closely with leadership and end users, blending technical expertise with day-to-day operational support. Primary Responsibilities • Serve as the go-to contact for internal ERP-related questions, issues, and improvements • Provide real-time user support, training, and documentation across departments • Submit, manage, and resolve technical tickets with external software providers • Set up, modify, and deactivate user access and permissions • Develop and run SQL queries for business reports, validations, and analysis • Identify and correct data inconsistencies or inaccuracies • Document standard operating procedures, workflows, and system changes • Execute test scripts for system updates, enhancements, and customizations • Conduct data entry and validation as needed • Monitor and troubleshoot system integrations with other business tools • Support internal rollout of new applications or updates • Normalize and prepare data sets for imports, updates, or reporting • Recommend improvements to optimize workflows and platform performance Skills & Qualifications • Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent hands-on experience • 2+ years of experience supporting ERP or accounting software in a technical role • Proficiency in SQL; experience with writing queries and interpreting results • Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Access and VBA skills are a plus • Comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical stakeholders • Solid understanding of process flows in business operations and accounting environments • Analytical thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on technical issues Additional Competencies • Confident working independently and collaboratively • Comfortable supporting a range of system-related tasks • Driven to learn and improve platform functionality • Approaches support tasks with patience, clarity, and a customer-first mindset Benefits Include • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • 401(k) plan with employer contribution • Paid time off and holidays • Life and disability insurance All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
