Overview CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist – Cloud Application Operations opening for our client in Orlando, FL. Location: Orlando, FL Duration: 8 months Duties: • Manage and support cloud-based application operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. • Deliver compute platform architecture patterns and reference architecture to support Travel Services operations. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain seamless functionality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions. • Perform incident response, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for cloud-based applications. • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices within cloud environments. • Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency. • Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud infrastructure and application deployment. • Prepare and present technical reports, architecture documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders. Skills: • Strong communication and excellent presentation skills. • Extensive knowledge of Travel Services infrastructure and cloud computing technologies. • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Expertise in performance monitoring, security best practices, and incident management. • Ability to deliver compute platform architecture patterns and reference architecture. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud application operations, infrastructure management, or a related field. • Hands-on experience working with cloud-based environments and services. • Experience in Travel Services technology is a plus. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Candidate must be local to Orlando, FL, or willing to relocate.
