What You’ll Do • Data Architecture Design: As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data architecture strategy. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that our data architecture supports our business goals and industry standards, enabling us to excel in the market. • Data Modeling: You will create and optimize data models for transactional, operational, and analytical systems. Your expertise in data modeling will ensure data consistency and reliability, enabling flawless data analysis and reporting. • Data Integration: Designing and implementing end-to-end data integration solutions will be a key aspect of your role. You will consolidate data from various sources into a cohesive and accessible data environment, using the latest Azure modern data stack technologies. • Data Governance: You will establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will identify and resolve any issues to ensure efficient data processing and storage, allowing us to make data-driven decisions without any bottlenecks. • Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of our data architecture, models, and processes will be a crucial part of your role. This documentation will serve as a valuable reference and training resource for our team. Experience And Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent experience will also be considered. • We require at least 8 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration. Experience in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry is preferred, but not required. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio and Erwin is critical. Additionally, experience with Microsoft Azure technologies like Azure Synapse, Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Data/Delta Lake, and Databricks is highly desirable. Familiarity with data integration platforms like Informatica and Talend will be a plus. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary for success in this role. Your keen attention to detail and focus on data accuracy and integrity will ensure the reliability of our data analysis. • Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, are necessary for success in this role. You should be able to effectively explain technical concepts to individuals from non-technical backgrounds, ensuring smooth and efficient communication across the organization. • Project Management: You should have demonstrated experience in managing data architecture projects from inception to completion. Your ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines will ensure the successful implementation of data architecture initiatives. • Knowledge: Having an understanding of data governance frameworks, data security guidelines, and important regulatory requirements like GDPR and CCPA will be greatly appreciated. The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
