Opportunity: We are looking for a Financial Analysis & Business Analytics Intern at our corporate office in Norfolk, VA. The Intern will support the Finance team serving the business needs of internal customers. This is a great opportunity to contribute and learn valuable skills. You will learn about our business, be introduced to complex financial and business concepts, plus learn to work within a high-performance team in a professional environment. Additionally, this position offers exposure to other areas of Finance and Accounting through select projects. Responsibilities: • Learn about the company, our industry and be part of an active and collaborative business environment • Perform analysis of business operations and financial results, providing insight into key business issues and developing proposed solutions for management • Provide support in developing clear, concise, and insightful presentations on financial and operating performance for senior management • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues • Assist in updating market and micro/macro-economic data used to facilitate upper level management decision-making • Assist in revenue and expense forecasting, reporting and variance analysis • Assist with building and maintaining various management reporting models in Tableau, Domo, R and Oracle Essbase (SmartView) • Provide analytical support on a wide range of projects and cross-functional initiatives • Assist in investor relations updates and quarterly commentary presentations • Participate in Capital Expenditure approval and administration • Exhibit effective interaction and relationship skills with all levels of management including accounting, operations, general management and senior leadership Qualifications: • Must be rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a full-time academic program from an accredited college or university majoring in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting. • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. • Can work a minimum of 20 hours a week, up to 40 hours per week. • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and processes end to end with a strong attention to detail • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge is a plus Apply at: www.titanamerica.com/careers
