Your impact We are looking for an experienced Identity Services Engineer that has a deep understanding of Active Directory architecture, design, implementation, and administration, along with demonstrated experience in integrating and consolidating Active Directory environments following mergers and acquisitions. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of AD domains, forests, trusts, and objects, while maintaining security, compliance, and performance standards. Location Remote within the United States Key Responsibilities • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of Active Directory integrations and consolidations during mergers and acquisitions. • Assess existing Active Directory environments, identify technical challenges and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business stakeholders, to define integration requirements and timelines. • Perform Active Directory migrations, including domain migrations, forest consolidations, and domain controller upgrades. • Configure and manage Active Directory trusts, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and other related services. • Develop and maintain documentation, including technical diagrams, configuration guides, and migration plans. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders. • Monitor Active Directory infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security trends related to Active Directory and identity management. Here's what you'll need • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Active Directory Engineer in enterprise environments. • Proven experience with Active Directory design, implementation, and administration in complex multi-domain environments. • Hands-on experience with Active Directory migrations, consolidations, and integrations during mergers and acquisitions. • Strong understanding of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory, and other identity management technologies. Experience with PowerShell scripting for Active Directory automation and management. • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with directory services consolidation tools such as Quest Migration Manager or Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT). • Familiarity with identity access management (IAM) concepts and technologies. • Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government, with a focus on security and compliance requirements. • Relevant certifications such as MCSE Core Infrastructure, Azure Administrator, or equivalent are preferred.
