Ho-Chunk Inc. Management Services (HCIMS) is seeking a full-time Applications and SharePoint Administrator. About the Role The Applications and SharePoint Administrator is responsible for developing front-end modifications/enhancements for system applications to meet emerging program needs. This position will work closely with program offices, subject matter experts, end users, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and implement solutions that support training and operations. The incumbent will also provide technical support for SharePoint and other third-party applications, managing content/storage, building workflows, administering user permissions, and troubleshooting access issues as necessary. This role is based in Fairfax, VA contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities • Configure, integrate, test, implement, and validate new features and applications based on documented project requirements. • Assist other team members with standard builds, operations, security, and troubleshooting in support of SharePoint and other applications/systems. • Collaborate with programmer team members to translate requirements into customized solutions. • Load and maintain content to SharePoint and other content management systems while ensuring synchronization across all platforms. • Build workflows and custom solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate/Flow. • Leverage the integration of Microsoft 365 applications (to include Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.) with SharePoint to increase efficiency and develop new processes. • Perform SharePoint site administration functions, including creating new views and subsites, maintaining lists and document libraries, developing workflows, troubleshooting issues, and managing user permissions/access requests. Supervisory Responsibility This role has no supervisory responsibility. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands • This role requires sitting for up to 75% of the time. • Moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. • Operates a computer and other office productivity machinery. • Talks or hears frequently. • Moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds. • Works indoors 90% of the time. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours may be required as needed. Travel This role requires occasional local travel. Requirements • Three years of relevant work experience with a government agency (DoD, DoS, etc.) preferred or equivalent combination of formal education. • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred. • Data organization skills, pattern identification, attention to detail, cataloging/classification and storage methods. • Critical thinking skills to conceptualize solutions within specified parameters. • A working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online. • Professionalsm under pressure, particularly with deadlines, and exhibits flexibility with shifting workloads and priorities. • Able to perform assigned duties within a collaborative team environment. • Excellent writing and analytical skills to include data visualization. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
