Position Overview Employee will serve in a mid-level ISSO support role and perform tasks related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and cybersecurity under DCSA purview to obtain and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for assigned Information Systems (i.e., applications, networks, devices). This position will be part of a team developing recommended courses of action needed to maintain and enforce current Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and procedures for compliance. Responsibilities Include • Support Corporate ISSM & ISSO by assisting with management and execution of RMF activities for various Information Systems • Provide solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of expertise and creativity. Problems are broadly defined, and solutions require the continuation of specialized theories and knowledge • Drafting RMF documents, including SSPs, RARs, POAMs, SCTMs, SOPs, ST&Es, etc. Create and maintain Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) records for all Collateral Information Systems as directed • Lead the classified incident handling process and oversee the reporting and investigation of Information System security-related incidents • Performing self-inspections to remediate perceived deficiencies as part of the ConMon program • Performing sustainment activities, including change management, account management, auditing, media protection, user training, file transfers, etc. • Development of SIEM dashboards and reports to drive time savings, to demonstrate our capabilities, and to improve the overall usage of SIEM resources. • Work with system administrators, engineers, and developers to create or update system/site policies, procedures, and process guides • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs Minimum Qualifications • B.S. degree and at least (18) months of experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology, or three (3) years of hands-on experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology • Active DoD Secret security clearance (minimum) • Industry based certifications or within 90 days of hire (i.e., Security+, GSEC, or SSCP preferred) • Willingness to perform security tasks outside specialty (e.g., program security) and be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, etc.) • System Admin experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and current Windows OS. • Experience using Tenable Nessus/ACAS Scanning Software or equivalent • Knowledge of common security technologies competent hands-on support and configuration ability in at least one security technology (i.e., SIEM) • Experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53,DISA STIGs and SRGs, SCAP Compliance Checker and/or STIG Viewer • Demonstrated ability to act independently, prioritize tasks, and manage schedules • Strong oral and written communication skills • Familiarity with NISPOM, DAAPM, RMF, CMMC, and other NIST (i.e., 800-171) publications • Some occasional travel may be required (up to 10%), for example, to on-site inspections or conferences. • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance Why Corvid?
