Summary We're looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Microsoft Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our growing delivery team at Cloud9 Security. If you love tackling complex challenges, engaging directly with customers, and being part of a vibrant cloud security company, this position is perfect for you. Your role will involve hands-on work with the latest Microsoft Cloud technologies, delivering daily support and technical project work across Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. We're seeking a highly motivated individual who is technically adept, customer-oriented, and passionate about security-first cloud solutions. Essential Experience • At least 5 years of experience in IT • Intermediate to expert-level hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure • Strong understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices • Knowledge in Networking, Virtualization, and On-Premises infrastructure • Exceptional problem-solving abilities • Experience in support and project-based work • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Desirable Experience • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender suite and Sentinel • Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and CIS Benchmarks • Understanding of utilizing Artificial Intelligence • Completed SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500 Microsoft certification Responsibilities • Implement and manage cloud security best practices • Deploy solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments • Assist customers with incidents related to complex cloud issues • Conduct cloud migration and transformation projects • Deliver solutions and solve problems under tight deadlines • Occasional out-of-hours work may be required • Identify and pursue sales opportunities • Accurately log time using an ITSM tool • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance delivery knowledge • Provide high-quality documentation and training for customers About You • You will uphold Cloud9's esteemed reputation. • Passionate about technology and eager to learn. • Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to business growth. • A proactive problem solver. • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders face-to-face. • Aiming to grow your career and skillset with Cloud9's support, including pursuing vendor certifications. • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoy team collaboration. • Demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm in your work. • Willingness to actively contribute to projects. • Ability to document actions and projects to a high standard. While you will work from home, occasional travel to customer sites and team meet-ups is necessary. Ideally, you should be able to meet in London once a month if required.
