Sr Power BI Lead 12-15 yrs of Experience Location: New York, NY - Hybrid 12 Months Job Description: Need solid Leadership experience on this project • Experience Required: 12+ Years • Lead end-to-end modernization of BI platforms with a focus on Power BI. • Migrate legacy reports and dashboards to Power BI, ensuring performance and usability. • Redesign and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable solutions. • Implement best practices for Power BI governance, version control, and security. • Integrate Power BI with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and enterprise data sources. • Conduct training and enablement sessions to promote Power BI adoption. • Monitor usage and performance of Power BI reports and dashboards. • Stay current with Power BI updates and recommend enhancements. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in BI and analytics, with strong expertise in Power BI. • Proven experience in BI modernization and migration projects. • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. • Experience with SQL, Azure Data Services, and ETL tools. • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with legacy BI tools (e.g., SSRS, SAP BO, Cognos). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. • Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
