Saxon Global is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the data management space. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with Azure Expertise to join our team. "> About the Role: We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in designing and implementing efficient data flow processes using Azure Data Factory and Python scripting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relational transactional databases like MSSQL, Azure SQL, and cloud-based frameworks like MS Azure. Responsibilities: • TSQL Programming: Develop high-quality TSQL code for batch processes and ETL transformations using Azure Data Factory and Python scripting. • Cloud Connectivity: Establish connectivity between different systems such as ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Axway. • Azure Cloud Services: Utilize Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse, MSSQL DB, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Blob Storage. • Pipeline Development: Create end-to-end pipelines to load data from multiple sources and load into landing layers or SQL tables. • Error Handling: Implement robust error handling mechanisms to ensure seamless execution of batch or ETL processes. Requirements: • Education: BS in Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent work experience required. • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Requirement Analysis, Strategic Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Development, Maintenance, Testing, and Implementation of efficient data flow processes. • Skills: Strong knowledge of TSQL programming, Azure Data Factory framework, and Python scripting. Excellent understanding of relational transactional databases like MSSQL, Azure SQL, and cloud-based frameworks like MS Azure. • Certifications: Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400) are a plus but not required.
