As a Director, Business Development, you will lead the strategic sales efforts across ACERTUS’ entire portfolio, focusing on high-value enterprise clients including fleet management companies, OEMs, national dealer groups, auctions, and financial institutions. This role is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of strategic opportunities, and leading sales initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm Pay: $140,000 - $160,000/year. This is a fully remote position. What You Will Be Doing • Prospect with a "hunter" mentality to generate new enterprise-level sales opportunities through strategic discovery and relationship building. • Meet new business revenue goals by owning sales pipeline from inception to implementation • Drive ACERTUS’ enterprise sales strategy while building and managing a scalable team of high-performing sales executives. • Own the sales pipeline from lead generation through implementation, managing multi-touch, complex sales cycles. • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including C-level executives, across multiple industry verticals. • Develop tailored, consultative solutions that deliver measurable value to each customer’s business. • Lead cross-functional collaboration to create client-focused solutions, align pricing strategies, and ensure smooth implementation. • Provide leadership in face-to-face customer meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations. • Serve as a subject matter expert in logistics solutions across target industries, including automotive retail, fleet, and financial services. • Track team and individual performance metrics, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts using CRM and analytics tools. • Attend and represent ACERTUS at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to build brand visibility and pipeline. • You must be willing and able to perform all other duties as assigned by management. What We Require • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role • Experience within the logistics, automotive, or Car Haul industries preferred. • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment • Proven track record of consultative selling and managing large, complex enterprise deals • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) • Willingness to travel up to 50% required • Strategic orientation with strong business acumen • Ability to think analytically and translate data into actionable insights • Leadership presence with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels • Strong interpersonal skills; thrive in cross-functional, team-oriented environments.
