Position: Job Opportunity of Senior Azure Cloud Architect Title: Senior Azure Cloud Architect Location: Durham, NC Duration: 5 Months (with a high possibility of extension) Qualifications: • Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and design with core technical skills • Must be certified as an Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Administration Level 4 (including 5+ years of cloud engineering experience) • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills • AWS and GCP Architect Certifications are also preferred Responsibilities: • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud architecture solutions primarily using Azure. • Develop and execute comprehensive Azure cloud strategies supporting Clorox's short-term and long-term objectives. • Create cloud architecture strategies encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions. • Define and maintain Azure cloud architectural blueprints, ensuring best practices and cost efficiencies. • Collaborate with Clorox Security to define and incorporate cloud security policies. • Assess existing systems and applications for cloud migration and optimization opportunities. • Design security measures and controls to ensure data protection and compliance with federal standards. • Provide guidance on cloud architecture decisions, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to internal and client teams. • Develop documentation including diagrams, guidelines, and best practices for knowledge sharing. • Serve as the Technical SME and escalate issues related to network and cloud infrastructure to Operations Team. • Evaluate new Azure services and technologies for potential adoption. • Lead the design and deployment of Azure cloud solutions across various business domains. • Mentor and guide other cloud engineers and architects. • Stay updated on Azure cloud trends and innovations. • Contribute to cloud governance policies and standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Azure solutions. • Oversee implementation and deployment of Azure solutions. • Manage costs and optimize resource utilization within Azure. • Implement security best practices and controls. • Work closely with Data & Technology leadership, business stakeholders, and development teams. • Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Dev Ops practices.Skills: Must have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Dev Ops practices.
