Role: DevOps / GitHub Developer Location: Fort Worth, TX-HYBRID Client is looking for LOCAL candidates only Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related field. • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. • Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure on Azure. • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD. • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with artifact repositories such as Artifactory or Cloudsmith. • Experience with monitoring tools such as Application Insights or Dynatrace. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training • 3+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience, using ITIL, Agile, XP, or similar methodologies • 3+ years Angular development experience • Airline Industry experience, including business systems and technology Skills, Licenses & Certifications • Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud. • Basic knowledge of server-side technologies, such as Java Spring Boot. • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies, such as Angular. • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. • Experience with establishing and maintaining SLAs. Top 3–5 Skills • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related field. • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. • Proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure on Azure. • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD. • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes Job Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform. • Configure and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters. • Manage artifacts in repositories such as Artifactory or Cloudsmith. • Monitor application performance using Application Insights or Dynatrace. • Establish and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical systems. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. • Provide recommendations and implement solutions to meet new requirements and improve existing processes. • Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and deployment processes. • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and continuously improve your skills and knowledge. • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
