One of our top clients is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead high-impact projects, mentor junior engineers, and design scalable cloud solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work across Azure and AWS, integrating cloud environments with traditional infrastructure (VMware, Linux) and enhancing Disaster Recovery and High Availability strategies. Requirements: • 7+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on Cloud experience • Strong background in Azure and/or AWS Cloud platforms • Proven solutions design and platform architecture expertise • Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), application gateways, load balancing, and IAM • Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on multiple projects Nice-to-Have: • Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AWS Architect • Experience with Citrix, VMware integrations, and Linux environments • Knowledge of Disaster Recovery, High Availability, and Cloud Security best practices • Background in CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, or Kubernetes Responsibilities: • Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions in Azure and AWS • Lead cloud integrations with existing infrastructure and DevOps automation initiatives • Drive full lifecycle cloud projects, from requirements gathering to implementation • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with leadership on strategic cloud initiatives • Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency, security, and high availability Rewards: • 70% project-based work on high-impact initiatives • Collaborative and innovative work environment with leadership exposure • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and automation Salary: $130,000 per year DOE Want access to Buffalo’s hidden job market?
