Job Responsibilities • Provide technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET web applications leveraging Azure Cloud services. • Create architecture and design documentation for applications and present them to the review board. • Collaborate frequently with clients to provide cloud solutions and assistance, understanding their requirements to add the most value to their business. • Develop functional design specifications, Azure reference architectures, design documents, and assist with other project deliverables as needed. • Design state-of-the-art technical solutions on Azure addressing customer requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance, leveraging existing Azure investments. • Design, develop, implement, and release high-quality custom software solutions using Scrum. • Create project and application architecture deliverables consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Lead technical design sessions with development teams, including creating class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensure adherence to architecture standards. • Apply the best technical agile patterns and practices when building custom software solutions. • Work independently on complex, non-routine tasks, and projects, with some supervision from a Solution Architect. Interact with end users and technical personnel to identify and correct issues. • Maintain continuous, open, and professional communication with customers, peers, and team members. Listen openly and confirm understanding to ensure alignment. • Review and approve third-party and integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy. • Communicate implications of architectural decisions, issues, and plans to business and IT leadership. • Define and validate non-functional (technical) requirements and establish traceability between requirements and application architecture/design. • Provide support and guidance to development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes. • Contribute to the development of project initiation documents, including objectives, scope, approach, estimates, and deliverables, when needed. • Work closely with Performance Engineering and Web/Infrastructure Technology teams on defining deployment architecture. • Stay up to date on all technical developments related to Azure, and other public cloud platforms through continuous learning. Requirements • Candidates must be able to work a W2 contract without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. We cannot accommodate C2C arrangements. • Candidate must be able to work ONSITE 3 days per week in either Nashville, TN or Tampa, FL. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience in providing technical and architectural leadership for Microsoft .NET web applications. • Extensive experience with Azure Cloud services. • Expertise in designing scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions on Azure. • Proficient in creating architecture, design, and technical documentation, including functional design specifications and Azure reference architectures. • Hands-on experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies. • Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and effective leadership skills. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and team management abilities. • Ability to work independently on complex tasks and projects. • Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with technical developments.
