The Assistant Site Manager assists the Site Manager by overseeing daily on-site operations across all business lines by ensuring employees adhere to operational policies and company standards at the worksites. This role directs a team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and timely, by providing direction and support, delegating tasks, setting expectations, monitoring performance, delivering coaching and training, resolving conflicts, promoting accountability, and ensuring policy compliance. Essential Functions: • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Site Manager to ensure that all lines of operations, service standards, and procedures are delivered • Develop short-term objectives and goals for the site • Establish guidelines and protocols for the supervisors on inspection of facilities, equipment, and employees • Promote and enforce safety standards and regulations for the site and conduct regular safety inspections • Evaluate the performance of employees and provide hands-on support to perform work when necessary • Oversee operational results and improve standard operating procedures accordingly • Identify operational and administrative deficiencies and provide recommendations for a more efficient operation to management • Ensure all on-site employees are properly trained in company health, safety, and environment policy and proactively promote health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project • Mediate, investigate, and respond to on-site concerns and incidents • Assist with the department budget to ensure project implementation is completed timely manner and within budget parameters, and identify resources as needed • Prepare detailed written reports, forms, and other documents with recommendations for site management • Other duties as assigned Knowledge and Skills: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and scheduler programs • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to effectively guide employees • Excellent communication skills • Demonstrate sound judgment and a high level of integrity • Ability to follow orders, identify critical situations, and provide solutions • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitor • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English • Deployed Services operates 24 hours/365 days and requires the flexibility to work additional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, or related field; related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree • Five plus years' experience in business operations, janitorial, housekeeping, guard, or caregiver role is required • Two plus years in a managerial role • Must be able to stand, twist, turn, bend, climb, lift, kneel, or walk on gravel and uneven terrain for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
