The Alexander Technology Group is seeking a dedicated IT Consultant to provide hands-on support for our client by resolving IT/helpdesk requests, managing networks, and maintaining servers and desktops. You will troubleshoot technical issues, administer Office 365 and Azure environments, and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place. Responsibilities also include configuring devices, managing Active Directory, and occasionally leading training sessions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft products, and knowledge of networking concepts. Certifications and experience with Hyper-V or VMware are preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills are essential. Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 Location: Jamaica Plain, MA (Onsite 5 Days a Week, Some Travel Required) Technical Requirements 3+ Years of Experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a related field Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and Intune Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 Familiarity with Hyper-V or VMware virtualization Knowledge of Active Directory Management Understanding of Networking Concepts (switches, firewalls, routers) Experience with Cybersecurity Monitoring and Threat Management Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving abilities Excellent Communication and Client Management skills Certifications In Microsoft Products (Preferred) If you are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you!
