Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. Project Manager III (2 Openings) Location: Minneapolis, MN (Preferred) or Denver, CO Duration: 6+ months (Highly likely to extend through 22-month project timeline) W2 Pay Rate: $75-90/hour About the Project This client is embarking on a high-impact technical transformation project involving the upgrade of SAP S/4 HANA through AWS to the commercial cloud, along with cybersecurity implementation. This 22-month project involves significant integration and vendor coordination efforts, offering an exciting opportunity to lead complex enterprise-level initiatives. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight: Manage a large-scale SAP S/4 HANA upgrade and AWS migration, with key deliverables involving over 170 integrations and coordination across 65+ vendors. Team Leadership: Lead a matrixed team of 100-150 professionals including architects, ABAP developers, AWS specialists, and business partners. Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors to ensure integration timelines and standards are met. Integration Management: Oversee technical integrations, identify and troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless deployment. Timeline Management: Maintain and monitor schedules to meet key milestones and system integrator expectations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a central coordination point between internal teams, external vendors, and leadership. Required Skills & Experience SAP Expertise: 7-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP, especially in complex integration and upgrade projects. AWS Experience: Proven experience with AWS-based migrations or implementations, preferably within SAP environments. Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise-scale projects ($2M-$5M budgets) in large, matrixed organizations. Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams; familiarity with JIRA is a plus. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
