Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Blockchain Security Engineer to join their innovative and fully remote team. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain security architectures for blockchain platforms and DApps. Conduct thorough security assessments, code reviews, and penetration tests of smart contracts and decentralized applications. Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities and risks in existing and new systems. Develop and enforce secure coding practices and guidelines for development teams. Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate remediation activities. Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in the blockchain space. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle. Develop and manage security documentation, policies, and procedures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of security tools and processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on blockchain security. Proficiency in smart contract development and auditing (e.g., Solidity, Rust). Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain protocols. Experience with security tools such as static analysis, dynamic analysis, and fuzzing tools. Proven experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team. Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Certified Blockchain Security Professional) are highly desirable.
