As Sr. Systems Engineer I, you’ll be passionate about Applications, Servers, and Infrastructure security and modernization. We maintain enterprise systems, monitor, and resolve risks, and explore new technologies and methods to preserve systems secure and flexible. What you’ll do: You’ll work with Enterprise IT Manager and other Team Members to: Identify and resolve system performance, vulnerability, or team process issues Meet with stakeholders to Research, Pilot, Plan, and Implement system enhancements and refreshes Perform technical and documentation upgrades to complete project milestones You'll provide day-to-day support of Cloud systems and data while supporting other team members with machines, storage, and network systems that keep the lights on! You'll also provide leadership and guidance to team members to develop support personnel to handle routine maintenance to enhance team best practices and ensure compliant operations What you’ll need to succeed: Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree You have 4-7 years of experience with a mix of Windows and Linux management, storage systems, and network configurations including Active Directory and group policy objects. You have 4+ years of experience deploying and managing data stored within the Microsoft Ecosystems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) You have 3+ years’ experience deploying virtual machines and systems on VMware infrastructure You have 3+ years’ experience deploying and managing physical servers You have 3+ years’ experience with Software and Update deployment tools such as System Center or similar You have 3+ years’ experience analyzing, modifying and maintaining Application and Network monitoring systems You know how to configure Firewall, Switches, and DNS for Application Delivery To apply for this position, please submit your resume via the form below or through our careers page: https://www.metrostar.com/jobs/ Application Deadline:  Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled; candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible for full consideration.
