The Business Process Analyst role is responsible for applying the appropriate methodologies and systems in supporting business processes. The scope for this role includes department specific initiatives, portfolio level projects, process reviews, documentation, and training. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position. • Work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support successful completion of projects or initiatives. • Produce all deliverables and documents for process mapping, business requirements, training requirements, and control plans. • Map and analyze "As Is" processes to provide a foundation for defining process activities. • Conduct process improvement and quality training. • Perform process reviews to include updates to the process and the documentation to ensure standardization and consistency. • Reporting, analysis (quality and process improvement initiatives). • Develop plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement • Develop metrics to track business process improvements within organization. • Schedule and facilitate meetings/training as needed and coordinate agenda, trainers, facilities, and attendees. • Utilize tools such as Voice of the Customer to ensure processes are designed to support the unique needs of our organization and our customers. • Conduct benchmarking activities with similar organizations to recommend optimal process practices. • Perform basic knowledge management tasks in support of business processes. • Draft and publish process improvement success stories and presentations. • Lead effort for end-to-end mapping of current business processes to provide a foundation for defining business activities using Service System Mapping or similar technique. • Train and coach others to design and use business process maps as well as to develop associated procedures, work instructions, job aids, and process measurements. • Develop an approach for analyzing effectiveness of key processes. • Understand how business process projects align with and help realize the organization's strategy. • Foster a productive work environment which elicits the utmost from co-workers and subordinates and promotes a process of continual improvement in both quality and productivity throughout the organization. • Communicates with management, co-workers, staff, stakeholders, and the general public in a courteous and professional manner. • Collaborates with operations and technical staff across functional lines and with vendors, stakeholders, and external agencies as necessary. • Responds promptly when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence and faxes. • Conform with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. • Acts, dresses, and behaves in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of the Clerk's office. • Fully support the Clerk's Quality Policy and standards of Performance Excellence by delivering exemplary services to both internal and external customers. Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Computer Equipment and Software Requirements: • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include MS Project, Teams, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
