Senior Linux Administrator 💰 Salary: 90,000 - 140,000 USD per year At CPKC we are looking for a System engineer! 🛠️ Our tech stack: Ansible, Azure, Bash, Cisco, IaaS, Support, Linux, Network, NFS, PaaS, PowerShell, Puppet, Python, Security, TCP/IP, Terraform, VMware, Cloud, System 📝 Rquirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: - A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. - 10 to 15 years of infrastructure experience. - 1 to 3 years of virtual infrastructure experience. - Knowledge in preferred areas such as: - Virtualization Technologies using VMware/Nutanix/Hyper-V (MS suite). - Design and configuration of converged infrastructure. - Cluster experience (SLES, RH is advantageous). - Experience with Vcenter or Nutanix tools. - Storage Technologies using Dell/EMC and NetApp, including replication technologies. - Familiarity with protocols, including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, FC. - Knowledge of Cisco Networking Products and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing Protocols, Switching). - Experience with Cisco UCS Servers and VMWare Hypervisor. - Knowledge and use of containerization platforms. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Demonstrated experience in documenting environments and runbooks. - Familiarity with Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and automation technologies. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code platforms: Terraform, Packer, Azure Resource Manager/CloudFormation templates. - Knowledge of enterprise service bus platforms. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are: In your role as a Senior Linux Administrator (internally referred to as Specialist, IS Infra Platforms Linux), you will be responsible for: - Providing operational support, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and expansion of Linux systems. - Participating in an on-call rotation. - Supporting provisioning/operational staff and collaborating closely with the architecture group for design validation of new designs and installations. - Advising on capacity planning and future installations. - Automating and orchestrating future use of Linux environments using tools like Tanium and Orchestrator. - Managing configurations utilizing tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, and Desired State Configuration (DSC). - Utilizing scripting languages like PowerShell, bash, and python.
