Data Architect - Microsoft Fabric This role is with a Maris Financial Services Partner Boston, MA - Hybrid Role - We are targeting local candidates that can be in the Boston office 4 days per week. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Architect to join our dynamic team and contribute to our data-driven initiatives. Roles and responsibilities: • Design and architect data transformation and processing solutions in Fabric Spark engine using PySpark and SQL. • Develop and oversee the implementation of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. • Architect and optimize data models within Azure Synapse Analytics. • Design semantic models and data visualizations and reports using Power BI. • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes. • Monitor and fix data workflows to ensure efficient performance. Required Qualifications: • Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric. • Proficient in Azure Data Factory. • Expertise in PySpark and SQL for data processing. • Advanced skills in Power BI for data visualization. • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes. Real time integration experience. • Azure SQL Database and SQL Server experience. Preferred Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role. • Prior experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks. • Certifications in DP-600 (Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate) and DP-700 (Microsoft Azure Data Scientist Associate) are highly desirable. • Purview experience highly desirable. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. •
