The Opportunity: We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in Networking to design and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure. This role emphasizes network optimization, automation, and incident response to ensure seamless operations. Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Networking & Core Systems Specialist Experience: 6-9 Years Location: Las Vegas, NV Duration: 6 Month+ Contract Key Responsibilities: Network Architecture: Design and maintain secure, high-availability network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and SDN. System Reliability: Monitor system health, address incidents, and conduct root cause analyses. Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to manage deployments and configurations. Collaboration: Partner with development, security, and operations teams to meet business needs. Documentation & Training: Maintain system documentation and mentor team members. Security: Enforce network security protocols and compliance standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP), monitoring tools, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with load balancing, CDN, and DDoS mitigation. Preferred: Certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP), SD-WAN experience, and familiarity with advanced security frameworks.
