Responsibilities The Wintel Engineer will be responsible for implementing and administering directory services security policies, patching, standards, and procedures in coordination with Security and Information Security Service Component Provider. Key Responsibilities: • Implement and administer directory services security policies, patching, standards, and procedures in coordination with Security and Information Security Service Component Provider. • Administer Federation Services within the Directory services environment (currently Active Directory Federation Services), other Federated services, and similar applications. • Interface with Service Provider support as needed, including opening tickets with Vendors when support is needed. • Participate in the annual review of machine plans and workload forecasts with the Service Provider. • Advise on or manage any upgrade or configuration change of an existing operating system, test new versions of machines, operating systems, and software prior to recommending implementation. • Work with DCS Solution Architects to provide input on solutions. • Provide Wintel L3, Cloud L3 support for all data centers. • Work with Applications tower to implement any applications changes and upgrades. • Manage ticket queues as appropriate. • Create or advise on processes. • Participate in on-call rotation. • Ability to work with multiple vendors. • Assist in audit processes. Requirements: • 8 years managing Window AD / Azure AD. • 5 years managing Windows Server. • 5 years responsible for overseeing AD infrastructure.
