Overview: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Licensed Retiree Benefits Advisor to join our client’s team on a temporary, virtual basis. This role involves assisting retirees in selecting the appropriate insurance plans, including Medicare, prescription drug, vision, and dental coverage. You’ll work directly with retirees to provide Medicare education, conduct needs analyses, and enroll clients into suitable plans. To apply follow this link: https://share.hsforms.com/1QUk4gnVcTi6dTYG_vsntzgtit0t Key Responsibilities: • Conduct needs-based consultations with retirees to identify and recommend appropriate health plans. • Assist with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plan enrollment. • Educate clients on their plan options, including DSNP plans and Special Election Periods for eligible individuals. • Manage inbound and outbound calls, addressing client questions and scheduling or completing appointments. • Compliantly enroll retirees into plans by following all scripts and CMS regulations. • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and ensure timely follow-ups. • Collaborate with team members to enhance client satisfaction and achieve performance metrics. Qualifications: • Active resident health insurance license (or the ability to renew prior to start date). • Successful completion of AHIP and carrier certifications before starting. • At least 2 years of consultative sales or customer service experience in a high-volume environment. • Strong knowledge of Medicare products and CMS compliance. • No contracting restrictions with previous employers or carriers (release documents may be required). Skills and Competencies: • Exceptional customer service and sales skills. • Effective time management and multitasking abilities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple screens. • Capacity to process complex details and explain them clearly to clients with varying knowledge levels. • Willingness to adapt to new systems and processes quickly.
