Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Azure Software Engineer to join our dynamic team, driving modernization initiatives by developing, deploying, and unit-testing secure and scalable applications on the Azure platform. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our customer-facing web portals that facilitate document scanning, printing, mailing, and data extraction services. Salary Range $110,000 - $150,000 Your compensation may vary within this range based on your experience and qualifications. Work Location We offer remote work options in various states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. • Occasional travel to our Madison, Wisconsin office to facilitate collaboration. • Onsite work will focus on team cohesion and planning. • Employees within 45 miles of our headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) are expected to work onsite 3 days a week. Minimum Qualifications: • U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Defense restrictions. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in .NET and C# development. • 3+ years focused on cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure; AWS experience may be considered. • Demonstrable leadership in technical initiatives and scalable solution architecture. • Extensive experience with Azure development alongside .NET, including Docker, Azure Functions, App Service (ReactJS and C#), and Key Vault. • Solid proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code practices in high-security environments. • Experienced in developing secure, maintainable, and performant UI with ReactJS. • Proficient in SQL Server on Azure, focusing on database design and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: • Understanding of document workflows and imaging systems, particularly in government or healthcare sectors. • Experience with data ingestion and analytical pipelines in Azure. • An entrepreneurial spirit willing to explore new approaches. • Flexibility and readiness to adapt as the role evolves. • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices in a DevOps environment. • Familiarity with business architecture frameworks and Azure administration. • Relevant certifications (AZ-300, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus.
