How you make a difference: IT Network Administrator – Building and Securing the Backbone of Our Connectivity Are you passionate about keeping systems connected, secure, and running at peak performance? As our Network Administrator, you’ll design, implement, and manage the critical network infrastructure that keeps our organization communicating and collaborating. In this key role, you’ll ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of enterprise-wide systems while proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users. With your expertise in networking principles and hands-on experience with enterprise-grade hardware, you'll help create a resilient, future-ready network environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and support scalable, secure network solutions to meet the needs of a growing enterprise environment. • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, including connectivity, bandwidth, and latency problems, to ensure optimal uptime. • Configure and maintain core network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems. • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols and respond to network-related security incidents. • Maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures for operational consistency. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. Experience: • Required: Three (3) years of professional experience in network engineering or a similar technical role. • Required: Proven experience with designing and managing LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks. • Preferred: Experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Preferred: Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). • Preferred: Familiar with equipment from Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, etc. Licenses/Certifications: • Preferred: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
