This Opportunity JOB DESCRIPTION WSP is currently initiating a search for a Legal and Risk Management-Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Be involved in projects with our Legal Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact • Assess scope of proposal/contract representations and certifications, with limited oversight by supervisors. • Maintain files and resources in connection with representations and certifications. • Prepare routine certified disclosures for Requests for Proposals and Contracts. • Ensure that contracts contain language which is corporate compliant. • Participate in the creation of business procedures and processes as well as training to ensure optimal levels of compliance and to mitigate identified areas of compliance risk. • Professionally and clearly communicate with other business units, including proposal managers, business managers, project managers, legal, tax, safety, subcontracts, and finance personnel at all levels of the organization. • Escalate employee concerns about ethical and legal violations to supervisors. • Other duties as designated by supervisors. Who You Are Required Qualifications • HS Diploma • 7+ years experience • Ability to work as a team member and collaborate with others within the department with customer service approach to working with other departments. • Must have excellent communication skills and well versed in Microsoft Office Programs such as Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive workloads. • Must be able to think outside the box, while staying within legal and ethical lines. Preferred Qualifications • At least three years of professional experience (or equivalent educational experience) in management of government or commercial contract compliance, business ethics, or similar regulatory compliance matter. • Previous law firm or compliance department experience • Bachelor’s Degree • Experience in Engineering and/or Construction industry. Compensation Expected Salary (all locations): $54,700.00 - $99,220.00 WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
