Lead Application Engineer - Cloud Solutions 💰 Salary: $114,500 - 204,000 per year At Navy Federal Credit Union we are looking for a DevOps engineer! 🛠️ Our tech stack: AI, API, AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Cloud, Databricks, ETL, GCP, Support, Java, Kafka, MuleSoft, OAuth, REST, Security, Spring, microservices, DevOps 📝 Rquirements: We require 8-10 years of experience as a cloud or integration engineer within a complex enterprise environment. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is essential, particularly with managed integration services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid). You should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring, MuleSoft, RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and message brokers, along with overall REST API service development. Experience in deploying and maintaining production systems is expected. Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills, as well as the ability to exercise initiative and make sound decisions, are critical. We also seek expertise in database and presentation software, along with strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required, as well as proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent training, education, and experience is necessary. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are: I will provide technical leadership to the aligned agile teams within the agile release train (ART) and will establish and lead project teams. I will develop project plans encompassing scope, schedule, cost, and communications. Furthermore, I will procure and manage resources, timelines, deadlines, and quality. My role includes risk, issue, and change management to ensure successful project implementation, operating within a broad scope of responsibility. I will actively contribute to SAFe Agile ceremonies and artifacts. My responsibilities will also include designing and implementing cloud-based integration patterns using tools like MuleSoft, Kafka, and Azure Integration Services. I will maintain scalable architecture, design and code application solutions, integrate changes with other NFCU/vendor systems, and implement vendor SaaS solutions. Additionally, I will support and contribute to the cloud migration and platform modernization roadmap for Consumer Lending, collaborating with platform architects to define and implement event-driven architectures, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines. I will document new system components or modifications, ensuring the security and integrity of systems and products in compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering, and Information Security practices. I will conduct engineering tasks in alignment with business needs, perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems while presenting clear and organized information to facilitate effective business decisions. Lastly, I will provide level 3 support, troubleshoot, resolve application incidents, and input for estimation and delivery timeline recommendations.
