Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Application Developer to join our rapidly growing Technology team. You will be joining a group of high-achieving technologists working to scale, develop new features, and customize the DRIVE platform to meet the needs of our internal consultants and client users. Responsibilities Work on an array of projects to advance the DRIVE platform including development of custom applications for clients, internal tools for consulting users, new features, as well as scaling the platform to support rapid growth. Act as a subject matter expert on the DRIVE platform and related technologies. Participate in all aspects of the software life cycle, including business analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and release. Support estimating and sizing solutions. Support project management by identifying and sizing tasks as well as participating in sprint planning and backlog grooming. Perform software development guided by industry best practices and test-driven methodologies. Perform peer code reviews. Follow software development best practices and methodologies. Assist in reviewing the scope, complexity, and effort to deliver project tasks. Develop explicit and thorough documentation of all source code and resources, as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs and production issues. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience working as a Software Engineer. 2-5 years of experience working in a software engineering role. Familiar with advanced features of at least one high level language with the ability to be productive in other languages. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are required. Typescript is highly preferred. Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar are highly desired Experience with relational databases and SQL is required. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cosmos or MongoDB is preferred. Azure Cloud experience is preferred. Experience with Continuous Integration and/or Continuous Delivery is a plus, but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Strong problem solving and analytical abilities. Exceptional work ethic, judgment, business acumen, attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts and present to senior-level executives. Results-driven and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
