Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and system integration to lead the technical architecture design and oversee seamless integration across cloud and legacy systems. The role supports the delivery of a high-impact technology modernization initiative for a U.S. Government Agency.Key Responsibilities: • Define the overall technical architecture for the solution, including on-premise, cloud, and hybrid components • Lead design and implementation of integrations between Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, and legacy systems • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and integration best practices • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DevSecOps, QA, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions • Drive architectural decisions and conduct technical reviews of development work • Provide technical leadership across sprints, design workshops, and review cycles • Contribute to documentation and support development of re-usable assets for the Center of Excellence Required Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level system architecture and design • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps • Deep understanding of data integration, security, and identity management • Strong experience with Power Platform is required • Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 is a strong plus • Familiarity with legacy system modernization and government IT environments • Excellent communication and leadership skills Eligibility Requirements: • Must be a U.S. Citizen (no green card holders or non-citizens) • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check conducted by the Government Agency or its authorized designee, which may include identity verification, criminal history, employment history, and related screenings Technology Stack The expected technology stack is primarily based on the Microsoft ecosystem. The solution is expected to leverage:Core Technology: • Microsoft Azure. The solution will be hosted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment, aligning with the Government Agency's infrastructure standards and security protocols. • Microsoft Dynamics 365. Likely used for CRM-style capabilities or constituent data management and workflow enablement. • Microsoft Power Platform, including: • Power Apps: For rapid development of user interfaces. • Power Automate: For workflow automation. • Power BI: For analytics and reporting dashboards. • Microsoft Dataverse. Used as the primary data platform to centralize and normalize the application data schema across components. Additional Integration and Development Technologies: • Azure DevOps: For project lifecycle management, code repository, CI/CD pipeline management, and automated testing. • Microsoft .NET: For backend service development and integration needs. • Azure Logic Apps: For advanced orchestration and integration across systems. • Azure API Management: For secure and scalable API exposure and consumption. • Azure Key Vault: For secrets management and compliance. • Azure Active Directory (AAD): For identity and access control. Integration Expectations: • Interfaces to legacy State systems and potentially third-party systems. • Emphasis on modular, loosely coupled architecture to enable future extensibility.
