Overview Join to apply for the Senior Power BI Analyst/Developer role at Jobs via Dice. This role focuses on advancing the team beyond manual processes and Excel-based reporting by leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform for automation and advanced visualization. The successful candidate will act as the resident expert in defining and automating the measurement of key control metrics to provide executive leadership with a clear, consolidated view of risk posture. Responsibilities • Digital Solutions & Automation (Primary Focus): Identify current manual business processes and design, develop, and deploy Power Automate flows and Power Apps to replace them with self-service, automated solutions. • Data Preparation: Utilize Power Query to prepare, shape, and transform data streams for advanced reporting and integration into automation flows. • Proactive Improvement: Maintain a curious, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset to continuously seek out new automation, self-service tools, and efficiency opportunities beyond the initial scope. • Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design and build visually clear, user-friendly Power BI dashboards that consolidate information from multiple risk assessments and move reporting away from static Excel files. • Metric Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain meaningful control metrics that will be published to the dashboards. Qualifications • Experience: 5-7 years in a development or highly technical Business Intelligence role; 8-10 years preferred. • Technical Proficiency (MUST-HAVE): Microsoft Power Platform with Power BI (complex, multi-view dashboards), Power Query (data preparation), Power Automate / Power Apps (automation). • Data Skills: Working knowledge of SQL to collaborate with enterprise data and analytics teams. • Background: IT or analytics professional background; Banking/Financial Services experience a plus. • Preferred: Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services; familiarity with risk and control assessment processes or related data environments.
