NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR/ HELP DESK PROFESSIONAL MSP (Managed Service Provider) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Pay: $65-75k BOE Essential Duties: • Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware • Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner to the customers satisfaction • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software, escalating complex user requests to appropriate personnel • Assist with onboarding of new users • Ensure workstations are setup with necessary hardware and cable managed appropriately • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software • Maintain inventory of all equipment • Create basic instruction documents for common user processes • Create and update technical knowledge base documents • Train employees on various software • Utilize windows and 3rd party diagnostic tools to resolve performance issues • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity • Diagnose and resolve printing issues • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. on Windows systems • Support of Apple iPads, iPhones, and limited Mac Books. • Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory & 365 Admin • Test software and updates before deploying to general users • Manage Windows and software patching and updates across the organization • Perform other duties related to supporting the business users and facilities as assigned Skills Required: The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are: • 3 years of related IT experience supporting Microsoft based operating systems • User & Security Group Administration in Active Directory • Basic PC network connectivity - Ethernet, TCP/IP and remote access solutions • Customer service orientation with the drive to see issues through to completion • Solid problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems issues and installed applications • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users • Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to deal with customers in a friendly, professional manner • Working knowledge of help desk software and ticketing in general • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills • Strong organizational skills • Experience in MSP **REQUIRED***!
