This is a 12 -24 month + Contract Opportunity Hybrid Remote 3 days onsite / 2 days at home CLIENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES THAT CURRENTLY LIVE IN THE DALLAS / FORT WORTH, TX AND SURROUNDING AREAS This is a Sr. .NET / Azure Cloud-Native Developer opportunity with our outstanding Financial / Banking Client in Irving TX. Client is working in a hybrid model ((Monday, Friday) remote and (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) on-site). As a new Sr. .NET / Azure Cloud-Native Developer you must be a highly skilled developer who personifies agile principles and values leveraging the latest in Microsoft-based technologies to create comprehensive, modern solutions for the internal customers and our members within the financial industry. Responsibilities • Develop intuitive software which empowers the business using technologies in the Microsoft .NET framework, Angular, Azure and Microsoft SQL/Server • Deliver working software frequently to maximize value, minimize risk and reduce waste using the Scrum framework promoting the aspects of transparency, inspection, and adaptation. • Leverage your strengths as an engaged member of a cross-functional Scrum team, who owns the product lifecycle including roadmap, enhancements and support • Collaborate directly with business and technical team members to understand the business need, refine requirements, and improve processes leveraging the Agile Scrum framework. • Consult with leaders leveraging knowledge and experience to adapt solutions for improved customer experience, performance and resiliency • Work together with the DevTeam to design solutions to achieve the business outcomes • Ensure stability and quality by creating automated testing, executing regressions and reacting effectively to issues that arise. • Remediates security vulnerabilities and stays current with secure coding practices • Document and present technical concepts in a business friendly, straightforward and understandable format. • Demonstrate your product for the Banks executives and community. • Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to improve coding standards and UX design standards as well as the introduction of new and beneficial tools and concepts. • Safeguard our systems by performing peer code reviews and promoting secure coding practices. • Provide constructive feedback with the intent to improve the process, the team, and teammates as well as cohesiveness. • Continuous learning of both tried and true as well as new techniques and technologies applicable to software development. Required Skills and Attributes • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent work experience. • Minimum 12+ years of C# application development experience • Angular 7 or above is required • Agile /Scrum Development experience • Rest /Soap Web Services • Azure Cloud -Native Development includes Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Storage ( Blob), Azure Managed Identity, Azure B2C Authentication. • PowerShell - preferred • Entity Framework • LINQ • SQL Server ( Stored Procedures, Views, Tables and Triggers)
